The werewolf loomed like a nightmare carved from shadow and sinew, its form caught between man and beast yet belonging to neither. Coarse white fur bristled across its broad shoulders, matted with blood that steamed in the cold night air. Its eyes burned with a molten amber light, not mindless, but cruel — the gaze of a predator that understood its power and delighted in destruction.

Every breath was a snarl, a rasping growl that echoed like iron dragged across stone. Its claws, curved and wicked, dripped with the ruin of its prey, each twitch of its hands promising another rending strike. Muscles coiled beneath its hide, ready to hurl the creature forward with impossible speed, a blur of rage and violence.

The air reeked of ozone and blood, as though the beast’s fury itself poisoned the world around it. When it bared its fangs, the grin was too knowing, too cruel — the smile of a monster that kills not only because it must, but because it revels in the terror it leaves behind.

It was no wild animal. It was wrath incarnate — a dark spirit of the hunt, bound to flesh and driven by the moon’s cold command.
